Last February we began a project with Sony. The brief was to materialize a creative concept linked to their newest laptop release, the VAIO SB, targeting trendy and dynamic students.
After exploring the concept further, our team was inspired to go beyond the scope and take the project to another level. We decided to work with the client to produce photographs in order to achieve our vision for the campaign.
We started by assembling a team. We had the pleasure of working with Thierry Siebrand, a talented Belgian photographer. He executed our creative point of view flawlessly, and worked with us to the last, fine-tuned details. The entire process was intense, but energetic and cooperative. Each of our individual ideas and senses of humor were incorporated into the final product. In only two days of shooting with Thierry we were able to create the main imagery for the campaign of this cool new product.
Product highlights: light, power and beauty.
The resulting images showcase the important elements of the new Sony VAIO laptop. Sony’s message, “Power in Motion,” refers to the machine’s ease of transport and myriad of capabilities. Our realization of this begins with the laptop as a central and flexible fixture in a person’s life. We display two trendy students using the computer in different settings, from playing hard to working hard, always with the new VAIO as the link.
