Edelman have just launched the Trust Barometer 2008, their annual survey of opinion elites and their trust in business, NGOs, politicians and peer groups. Most of it is fairly predictable, but interesting nonetheless, especially the confirmation that “a person like yourself” is amongst the most credible spokespeople, and the belief that companies should adopt more peer-to-peer communications. The rise of social media looks set to continue!
