The Millennials or Gen Y play a big role in this age of online communication and everyone (from global corporations to local shops) is vying for their attention. Being tech-savvy and having an array of motivations, companies who are targeting this audience need to make sure that their campaigns are cleverly crafted and speak their language.
This month, ZN has been involved in helping two of our clients with their competitions.
VaccinesToday Communication Challenge
Last year, VaccinesToday launched Communication Challenge, a pilot competition that asked university students to submit creative communication concepts which could “enhance awareness, improve vaccine acceptance, and communicate the importance of vaccination.” It was a success – having received an array of excellent submissions, attracting 6,000 page views and 4,600 Facebook likes – which is why they decided to launch the 2nd edition of the Communication Challenge.
If you know anyone who has a great idea, they could win a €1,000 prize by sending in their video!
YourFormula and Your Ideas For A Sustainable Future
With advancing sustainability at the core of its competition, YourFormula is encouraging students and young professionals in the EU to submit a video, slideshow or image of fun and creative answers to the question “What is chemistry’s role in building a sustainable future?”
Utilizing social media, the winner will be selected by a judging panel based not only on their answers but also on the number of likes, retweets, and sharing on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Those who are interested to win an iPad mini can submit their entries until July 15.
