Jumpcut.com, the very cool (and free) application which allows users to upload video, images, audio etc and then edit and remix as they like, is the platform being used by the Mitt Romney campaign in its Team Mitt: Create Your Own Ad! contest, where they’ve asked his supporters to create campaign ads for him. It has been runing for a few weeks now, so there are quite a few clips up. A great Web 2.0 initiative allowing the candidate to harness the imagination and hard work of his supporters while just sitting back and watching the best efforts go viral. Another great example of democratisation at play thanks to the Internet – hope it hits Europe next.
