John F. Kennedy once said that “Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other”.
In ZN, we believe that in order to adapt to the digital age and to keep up with the fast-paced growth of information, today’s leaders and thinkers should develop the habit of continuous learning and have this at the core of their everyday lives.
Last January, the Cefic Communications team had their first round of the ZN Digital Masterclass – a series of workshops for practitioners who wish to expand their digital skills and develop insights on how to create, implement and measure an effective online strategy.
The first session was with ZN’s Chief Hyperthinker, Philip Weiss, who introduced the concept of Hyperthinking and discussed how Cefic’s communication team could apply hyperthinking.
A week after the hyperthinker session, key members of the Cefic communications team had a full day training on strategy with three workshop sessions:
- Building an effective digital strategy,
- Web research & monitoring, and
- Measuring & reporting digital success/activity
Along with Nicholas Brooke, Helen Dunnett, Lise Brooke and Tom Michiels, I helped facilitate the full day session.
There was positive feedback and enthusiasm from both sides. Brigitte Mahoux, Cefic’s Publishing Manager, said, "the session we had on Friday was praised by the whole Cefic team.” The class ended on a high-note and built a strong foundation for the future.
We are keen to continue working with Cefic and keep the momentum going. And with the second round of ZN’s Digital Masterclass coming soon, the learning doesn’t stop!
