In a new campaign, #BeerWisdom, we have helped The Brewers of Europe highlight the sector’s commitment to responsible drinking and consumer information and taken the existing slogan of #BeerServesEurope to a new level in raising awareness of brewing’s significant contributions to the European economy.

#BeerWisdom articulates how the industry is effectively keeping its Pledge to address misuse of alcohol through collaboration with NGOs and public authorities and how it is leading the field in a voluntary roll out of ingredients listing and nutrition information across Europe. #BeerServesEurope positions brewing as traditional yet innovative, entrepreneurial and fast-growing. The campaign also advocates for fair tax treatment for the sector, citing its 7,500+ breweries generating 2.3 million jobs and its major role in exports.
