The coalition is envisioned as a neutral, cross-sectoral alliance and policy platform that brings together leading voices from sleep science, healthcare, patient advocacy, and civil society. By connecting this diverse ecosystem, the coalition aims to elevate sleep health within Europe’s public health agenda and position it as a vital part to it: alongside established prevention priorities such as nutrition, physical activity, mental health and non-communicable diseases.

Public health conversations in Brussels are crowded. Yet some topics remain underrepresented, not because they lack relevance, but because they lack a clear, credible policy voice.
Sleep Health Europe was created to address this gap. Working with founding partners, we helped shape a coalition project designed to bring sleep health into EU policy conversations with clarity and coherence. The challenge went beyond introducing a new initiative: It required building a recognisable institutional presence that could align scientific evidence, advocacy priorities, and public narrative under a shared identity.

The logo draws inspiration from three simple yet meaningful cues:
Together, these elements create a mark that feels calm, recognizable, and deeply human.

From naming to typography, colour palette, system design, website, video, and social presence, the work focused on one objective: building a voice that could travel across channels and be recognized with credibility. We developed a typographic system for effortless reading, soft contrasting colours, and principles for composition, movement, and deployment across formats.

The coalition’s website acts as a structured hub for evidence, tools, and advocacy, offering policymakers and stakeholders a clear entry point into the topic. To introduce the coalition with clarity and emotion, we also created an introductory video capturing the essence of its mission and the symbolism behind the logo.

Because every new voice needs a space in the public sphere, we launched Sleep Health Europe on LinkedIn, giving sleep health the visibility it has long lacked in EU policy discussions.

ZN continues its collaboration with Sleep Health Europe. In addition to recently finalizing Sleep Health Europe event, our ongoing collaboration includes various communication support projects.
