ZN worked with the EPP Group, the largest political group in the European Parliament, in developing an information campaign as part of the 2014 European elections. The core of the EPP Group communication campaign was focused on the message “Believe in People.”
The campaign centered on connecting MEPs with the lay public, opening up a two-way dialogue, and starting to build and maintain relationships. It also profiled MEPs as people you know – ordinary people from your local community, not much different from you and me. At the same time, the campaign shared stories of European citizens the EPP Group believes in, people who want solutions to their problems, to overcome obstacles, and take action to prosper.
The campaign resulted in improved KPIs for EPP Group with higher number of visits on their website as well as an increase in traffic and engagement on social media.
