The Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC), supported by the Agency for Support for BEREC (BEREC Office), an agency of the European Union (EU), is composed of the Heads or nominated high-level representatives of National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs) of the EU Member States. BEREC started its activities in 2010 with ongoing strategic objectives:

  • Promoting full connectivity,
  • Supporting sustainable and open digital markets,
  • Empowering end-users.

An Innovative Rebranding

After multiple years with the same branding, BEREC and the BEREC Office are ready for a new look. As part of a wider collaboration with the BEREC Office, ZN reinvigorated the BEREC and the BEREC Office look and feel to further reflect the organizations’ role and mission in the modern and digital age.

Creative Concept and Design

The journey started with the creation of a dedicated hashtag, something BEREC/BEREC Office never had. Taking into account the organisations’ missions and stakeholders, #empoweringEUconnectivity was introduced. This was followed by the creation of hero visuals, updating BEREC and the BEREC Office logos, colour palette, typography and effects applied to BEREC and the BEREC Office visuals.

The Complete Package

ZN further created a full range of online and offline branding assets and templates for BEREC and the BEREC Office, including social media assets, video intro and outro with animated logos, newsletter templates, email signatures, calendar, stationary, Microsoft Office templates, and more. ZN also created BEREC and the BEREC Office’s new brand guidelines, which outline the usage of the new branding to ensure consistency, while still allowing for creativity.

Brand Launch on Social Media

With new and modernized BEREC and the BEREC Office logos and all the branding materials in place, ZN created a short brand launch campaign for the two logos. The campaign included eye-catching animated assets of the previous BEREC and the BEREC Office logos transforming into the new logo, showcasing all the newly introduced elements in the logo. The campaign also unveiled the organizations’ dedicated hashtag, #empoweringEUconnectivity.
